Patent application is approved for the new generation of bankable DIN type consumer units
Centaur move to their new 50,000 sqft factory in Redditch

Proteus Industrial Division (Telford) and Proteus Consumer Unit Division (Redditch) are established in two new factories
Manufacture of miniature circuit breakers begins in Redditch, this being the most technically challenging project ever undertaken by the company

Fully automated and bespoke production lines are built for the manufacture of switch and socket boxes in Telford
The new 100A Type A RCD conforming and tested to BSEN61008 is designed and developed by the R&D team

Proteus Industrial design and develop the new PRO2000 LV switchboard which is entirely manufactured and assembled at their Telford site
High speed fully automated rolling lines installed at Tamlex producing both cable trunking and cable tray

The Industrial Division in Telford Invest in a new state of the art powder coating paint plant
A new extrusion line is installed and commissioned as part of a comprehensive plant & equipment upgrade programme

M2 launch their XS range of consumer units incorporating the unique patented dual terminal isolator
Installation of a new CNC punching machine enabling greater flexibility along with increased speed and efficiency

The M2 Decorative range of wiring accessories is released, available in 5 different plate finishes

Tamlex add a new 3m CNC brake press utilising the industries latest steel bending technology
M2 begin a two year project to research and develop a range of arc fault detection devices

Proteus Industrial install a high speed CNC laser machine to meet the increasing demand for steel components
Centaur commission an extensive upgrade to their onsite uPVC compounding and mixing facility

Proteus EV is made with a extensive range of products for the consumer division and the industrial with O-PEN technology
