Installation Materials Division’s training manager, Alastair Runiciman with Nelson Group Manager, Phil O’Nions were invited to Lancaster & Morecambe College to present and train their electrical students who were currently studying EAL levels 1,2 & 3.
Callum Machon, the account manager from Morecambe branch arranged the presentation which included the reasons why consumer units within domestic dwellings changed with amendment 3 of the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations and the forthcoming 18th Edition to be published next year.
Wishing to support UK manufacturing the College also uses the M2 consumer units within the training booths for the young electricians to gain experience.
“The training day was wonderful” said Engineering Lecturer Neil Stevens , “Alastair hit the right tone of keeping the information flowing with his entertaining style. I know all the students benefited from the day”.
